Would you do it?

What would you do if you could not fail?

It took me about 30 seconds to answer that question.

I would travel full time.

It took about one second after that to come up with all the reasons it wouldn't work.

Even though I talked myself out of it- I couldn't stop thinking about it.

Suddenly there was a way it could work.

At some point in the next few years Ben will have to go on an unaccompanied one-year assignment.

Both of my kids will have graduated high school.

There is an option to take a leave of absence from my job.

It might just work.

The year Ben goes on his assignment. I travel.

I would have a few years to save money.

Will it work?

There are some real logistical questions to answer first. Will I be able to get my medications if I am traveling? One of my medications will not be no problem, but one of them is hard to get outside of the United States and a few other countries.

How would travel affect my mental health?

Can I actually do this?

I want to explore it.

I want to do it.

I will start exploring my options when Ben finds out what his next assignment is. If he gets the assignment he wants- I will have 2-3 years to save money and get things settled. If he doesn't, I will only have a year, which won't give me enough time to save enough money.

So we wait for the results of Ben's bidding.

And make pros and cons lists.

And research refilling medications.

And talk to my doctor.

And create itineraries.

And save money.

And dream.

What would you do if you knew you wouldn't fail?
